OK. But then don't assume everyone elses NAS is the same. Your post:

Thats not how it was intended, as an wireless professional I too often see it being pointed to as the faulting factor but 80% time it is not. In this case there was potential for that to be the same and still is (wireless). Please bear in mind the OP didnt specify their hardware.

I was quoting my hardware as it is the limiting factor in my setup.

I have a Synology DS214 Play and I get fantastic speeds on wired gigabit, wireless access speeds aren't too bad, but they are worlds apart in terms of performance... I do however love the one button copy from SD/USB storage function
