Hi All,

My 350d sadly passed away today. The cause of death is unknown and its estimated death time was 8:15 am. Luckily a new camera will be part of a christmas and birthday combo that goes by the name of 400d. Its a sad day. But at least my stepdad is going to repair it and have his first DSLR for his christmas

I think its death has gone to my head:cuckoo:

No pictures from me for a while :(

Sorry to hear about your recent loss, hopefully it will be resurrected and serve someone else well. Are you sure it didnt get wind of its imminent replacement and commit you know what. Regards Jim

yep went to the shop tried the battery in a 400d and it was fully charged
 
We will miss her, may she Rest In Pieces...

At least she'll be reborn to a new life!
 
Bummer! The period without a camera will seem interminable. Not that long though. :)
 
My Fuji S2 Pro died once- a day before my annual holiday! I thought I had tried everything to revieve it. In panic I went out bought a replacement camera. After the holiday I had another go at 'fixing' it. The problem was just a dirty battery terminal in the camera!

Still at least I found an excuse to upgrade.....
 
The reason i am getting the 400d is i have 2 gcse art projects to do that are virtually impossible with a compact. And i am going to the scottish highlands on holiday and i would hate to go without a DSLR
