FAO: specky 4 eyes people

I've tried various products over the years and given up.
Tbh all I tend to use these days is microfibre cloth.
Small dust particles I can live with but smeers annoy me.

I use fairy liquid, spot between my finger and thumb rub on each lens gently, wash off under very hot water, repeat with other lens, dry with soft dry cloth!

What do I use to clean them? Whatever I'm wearing at the time usually. Cotton T-Shirts seem to do the best job.

Angle grinder.

IPA and a microfibre cloth :)

keep em on in the shower :)

its either my finger as a wiper or as above.. tee shirt or whatever

Same. Or a micro fibre cloth if I have one spare. Glasses get dirty quickly. Live with it or buy contacts. I use both, but contacts annoy me at the end of the day.

ok, sensible answer: I use alcohol based lens wipes when I have them, if not then it's what ever I'm wearing at the time

Oakley glasses spray, cloth & rocket blower :) has been working for years now :).

Lidls Microfibre cloth (Aquapur 2 green ones in a pack) if they need anything more than that it's warm water and soap.

A bit of huff and a Pentax glass cleaning cloth, nothing more :)

If I am in the kitchen, same as Ed and often wash them while I am doing the washing up. If I am out and about - whatever is to hand, normally the inside of my fleece jacket which cleans them quite well. Or, when I am not wearing a fleece I try and keep a packet of those cigarette papers in my bag - works on camera lenses as well

When I wear my specs (very rarely - I much prefer contacts) and they need cleaning, I use Bouchards wipes. Get rid of smears, salt marks etc and don't make the frames go green like fairy liquid does if you don't get it all off! If I haven't got one of thoise wipes with me, a T-shirt or a normal shirt if I really can't wait until; I get hold of one of the impregnated wipes.

I second this! (Kitchen roll works well)

Or a lens wipe if I'm cleaning my camera lens too (camera first though!)

Microfibre cloths work well too.

The way my eyes feel sometimes: emery cloth.

I too use anything to hand. What I do find annoying is that the rubber erm...'thingy' on the eye piece on my 350D use to smudge up my glasses something proper! Never worked out why, doesn't happen on the 40D thankfully.

Vinegar's good for getting rid of grease off of glass and metalwork.

Keep them in their case, that way they'll remain clean  :p

only use em for reading/laptop, but can NEVER find the case so dust is biggest problem, but I am a 'whatever comes to hand' kinda cleaner, usually a cotton shirt or t-shirt, and often my camera lens cleaning cloth.
The OH, who wears them nearly all the time uses a little tool I found in a chemist once, like a pair of pads between a sprung grip that clean both sides at once, but the angle of the bridge pieces on mine mean it never gets into the corners so I dont bother with it.

I get these glasses wipes from home bargains....about 80p for 60 wipes....but I use them for my camera lenses!!

A microfiber cloth for mine. Semtex for the wife's.

Usually my shirt or tie. If they're really bad, a wash in hot water and wipe with a dry towel or cloth sorts them out.

AF Screen-clene and a microfibre cloth. Works for me...

cheers

I am also one of the ones who uses whatever I'm wearing at the time :D Glad I'm not the only one

Usually whatever comes to hand (t-shirt most often) but I do have a cleaning spray and cloth supplied by the optician with my last pair which is very effective.
