Firstly ill look forward to your apology on here hopefully tomorrow when you receive your goods.

Iv just found the other thread you made about me and Whittie making us out to be scammers again. I didnt once say i had sent it through my work? Im guessing you contacted DCMS the garage i used to work for nearly 3 years ago :|.
To be honest getting the police involved after A WEEK! was a bit uncalled for, Iv apologised to Whittie for all this as he had the them turn up at his door even after it was made clear on here that we have no connection other than helping me out by posting the for sale thread on behalf of me as we know each other from another forum.

before you all start saying its my own fault etc, i know it should have been sent out earlier etc etc but everything has been explained to Shell over the phone and also to the police which i feel doesnt really need to be explained fully on here.

just wanted to clear up a few things about all this, thanks.

Yes, Shell acted, or reacted, far too quickly. But then you acted far too slowly.

I guess you deserve each other.
 
And as you knew has she had reacted with the other thread, the least you could have done is to keep her informed.

Nice to know you are not ripping her off though!
 
When she says she contacted me with no reply it was because i was working, i txt her letting her know i couldnt answer the phone untill late at night etc.

I was never going to rip her off. I feel a complete ***** that Whittie was involved in all this, i cant apologise enough to him.
Also whoever contacted my old place of work i think that was a bit out of order as i havnt seen my old boss for a couple years and now next time i see him ill have this to explain about!
Anyways Shell should receive her camera tomorrow as it was sent special delivery this morning.

So, just to clarify this, you send the camera out today, only after the police became involved? If that's the case then regardless of what Shell said it's you that owes her the apology.....
 
The camera getting sent out today wasnt at all because the police contacted us, the apology im asking for is me and Whittie being labelled as scammers etc.
Shell has had her apology from me.

and just to add, although it doesnt show our ever so great police force in a good light. The officer who contacted me couldnt have cared less, just said he had to follow it up from the complaint made and just asked me to post the goods thats all.
 
You really are a complete numpty, nigh on two weeks to send the camera out to her.
When brains were dished out, were you the idiot at the back of the queue holding the door open for the rest of the world?

So it wasn't until the police contacted you that you actually sent the goods out to Shell?

So I was right - it did take getting the police onto you before you did the decent thing and sent the camera.


Yet here you are acting as if you're the victim.......

Pipe down big un who put a penny in your slot. Like i have said it wasnt anything to do with the police why it wasnt sent out earlier, as Shell will possibly explain when she comes on ;).

I will pipe down kiddie when you justify why it took you so long to send the camera out to Shell?
I'll happily apologise to you if you've been a good boy throughout the transaction but until then, my doubts remain.

So Shell doesnt have to type it out the reason it was sent so late was because i have been working away in wales for most of this time, it was left with the mrs to sort out but she fudged up and ended up not having the funds to send it out for me. Everything would have been on time if i didnt get sent working away(work as a roofer so weather depicts when i work usually the night before getting sent away)

I think this is between you and Shell! I understand why you wish to clear yourself, but tbh the damage is done...... Just looking forward to Shell saying she has the camera and is happy with it :thumbs:
 
She should be happy with it, it had hardly been used less than 900 frames! Wish i didnt have to sell it to be honest but just dont have the time to learn :( Maybe another day.
