Is this the circa 1920/30s one?

I think its more a sixties retro one but could be earlier

Iwas in Dorset somewhere last year, went into a museum of life (I think it was) and there was a section on photography (a little shop type thingy) and there was one in there dated 1930ish!

The furthest I got with the restoration was new rubber feet

The chrome legs extend to just over 5' and it still has the tan case which is mint and the remote shutter release in chrome too

Yep! looks exactly the same! Love that Art Deco style, no mistaking it.

You know, I think I'd look after that far better than Gary would... he's renowned for flogging items he gets as gifts, or didn't you know that? :D

Action it for charity Pete :). Help for hero's

As I have offered it to Gary I will wait for a response from him first then if he says no I will auction it for HFH as I had no idea how old it was, but Gary gets first call on it thats only fair

Awww what a nice gesture :D To be fair, someone up above mentioned charity and I would hate to stand in the way of that. I am also a hashy ******* and would end up breaking it. Seriously though, kudos for thinking of me!!!!

G.

If thats your wish Gary it will go to a raffle or auction I dont mind either way as it will not get any restoration here

I have PMed one of the mods to see if it could be auctioned here, but I think there may be some legal wranglings that wouldnt allow it but still a good idea and willing to send it to the charity for auction/raffle.......lets see whats said here first:thumbs:

if its an issue I'll have a word with my sis she runs a vintage shop and it would look lush in there ;)

Thanks David, I really dont care where or how it gets sold so long as the proceeds go to the charity Help For Heros

I havent a clue what its worth but the mods have taken it to the staff room with jaffa cakes so we will see what that outcome is first
