What a first round :)

Some great drives and plenty of turmoil and mishaps, hope this is a glimpse of how the whole season is going to pan out :D

Enjoyed the race, lots of action and some overtaking too:eek:. What was Raikkonen playing at?

which is interesting because its quite clear that DC had 2 choices a) turn into the corner while massa is alongside and cause an accident which was avoidable or) concede the corner allowing massa through continue to the end of the race and score points, coulthard did the latter, however it was a racing incident and no one was really 100% to blame, its more 50/50, however during the manouver it was DC who had control of the outcome!


so come on whos team is who as lots of folks have picked team names that arnt their TPF login

I'm Formula Won, I like the irony of it as I'll be propping the table up come the end of the season :D
 
im matts uperlicence, its the closest i will get to racing...

DC should have looked in his mirrors, he must have known that massa was gonna gung ho down the inside, typical DC 'im so much better but never win anything' attitude.
 
Rapide - One of the 16 pointer's. Well someone has to hold up the league. lol

I've changed my predictions for Malaysia. But Hamilton still features prominently.
 
Damn I didnt realise we lost points for having constructors do bad during the race :( Just found the points breakdown page thing.

I don't understand the scoring! I got 18points for Adrian Sutil, and he was out within 8 laps!

Certainly is a bit confusing:thinking:, not sure I can be bothered to understand it, I'll just be grateful for any points I get:D.
 
Did he finish/Retire much higher than he qualified Matt? if so maybe this is it:

Grid improvement points

Drivers score +3pts per position gained for finishing further up the order than their starting position on the grid. E.g. a driver who starts in 18th position on the grid but finishes in 16th position scores +6 points for the two positions they have climbed. Official F1 classifications will be used.

ooo the race could be interesting now with the mclarens both being put back 5 places on the grid! Will be interesting to see how they push through the field - also I recon the ferrari's are running light on fuel - so I can see the Mclarens catching them in the pitts.

I actually got quite a few points this round! not sure how :| The point scoring seems a little odd, it seems to do well you need you drivers to qualify bad and finish good - so it seems wiser to back the outsiders and just hope they do well in the race.
 
One improved on their qualifying possition, one not so much

wont last, no idea how the scoring works at all but hey...

Dont forget they restart the scoring for the start of the next race, as those first two races were just a "warm up" for the fantasy F1 thingy, not sure why! But everyone will be back to 0 soon :(

I forgot to set my team up for the race, and with Hamilton having such a bad time I can imagine my points are awfull.

EDIT - ok some how I got 46 points!
 
What was the point of scoring in the first two races?:thinking:
This game's to complicated for my simple brain:shake::lol:
 
Apparently to get use to how it worked, or something :|
 
did better than i thought, need to think hard in the next 2 weeks if i want to change anything...
