Fans of Floyd

Good stuff. I liked Floyd and then got into Barrett about 10 years ago after getting a biog. As I live 7 miles from Cambridge took a trip or 2 down the road he lived at but never saw him, wish I had knocked at the door as he sadly passed in 06. Great band. The auto biog of Guy Pratt is worth a read.

I went off them around the Delicate Sound of Thunder / Momentary Lapse of Reason era but I'm watching.

I have it on as BG whilst on here, it's rather lovely

Comfortably numb...

Some better older Floyd stuff on now.....

Great band. 1994 Earls Court, Pulse gig.. :notworthy:

Recorded most of it but somehow missed The Delicate Sound of Thunder in the middle, luckily it's repeated on the 4th.

Cheers Marc but the DVR will grab it :)

It's all available on iplayer hugh

Hopefully it'll still be up on Monday evening so I can watch it while my wife's out teaching.

00:45 Monday on BBC4 for A.D.S.T. I've already got the Wish You Were Here program.

Everything was set for record and I have regular PF Fest's

Somehow after too many years I have settled on Wish You Were Here as my favourite album.

Probably change next year.... again.

First time i saw them was at Hyde Park, they just about to bring out Atom Heart Mother, and they played it live :)

Six count them six! times! :D Five great concerts and one poor one (Division Bell, got stuck behind a pillar way to the back).

Watching DSOT again my spine still tingles when Rachel Fury does her Wah Wahs!

Just finished watching the second program.
Comfortably numb again. I'd forgotten how good they were and I now have a few ideas for my birthday.

It will make a change from socks.
