Does anyone remember Dr Who's assistant Peri (Nicola Bryant) from the mid 80's (Colin Baker years). A local store had invited her to sign autographs last Saturday at a Dr Who event they regularly hold. I was at work so my eldest son took his younger brother to have his photo taken with her. I'm in the last photo (taken by a shop assistant), the reason for my red face is because I had to rush home from work in the afternoon, sort through the photos, print one off and take it for to sign before she left, plus a bit of sunburn too.
She is a very nice and pleasant lady, looking just as good now as she did over 20 years ago.
If you don't know who I mean this will probably jog a few memories for the men.

Does anyone know who Anneline Kriel is?

She was married to Sol Kerzner who owns the Southern Sun Hotel group and she was a Miss UniverseOR SOMETHING in the early 70's.

Saw her at the local airport a few years back and she still looked damn fine!!

Pity the ex nuked the photo:shrug:
 
I had mine taken with Geoff Capes when i was at school. It didn't get any bigger than Geoff Capes at the time.

Still wouldn't be terribly dissappointed if I shipwrecked with her on some nice island though:naughty:

Oh and Sharron Davies the swimmer when I was at school.
 
I see most of the Emmerdale crew every week as they film on our farm..:razz:
 
My claim to fame (apart from David Bailey asking my mum out before I was born :p...(she declined as she was married to my dad)).

The photo Im quite proud of is of me standing next to Sunny Lowry, the first English woman to swim the English Channel.
Really nice old lady she is, down to earth and a great laugh. So many stories to tell :D

I'll scan it in later. :)

Im afraid i havent been snapped with anybody really famous, but have met Richard Burns (RIP), Colin McRae etc at a pre Net Q rally Ball ? does that count ? most famous person i know is a female rally driver from the US, got some nice pics of us, but not sure she classes as famous in this context ! :)

I used to compete alongside Sterling Moss years ago I car trials ( he was crap at it BTW :lol: ) When he was "using it" as therapy following a nasty accident, God that was a long time ago!
Pictures are in the attic somewhere I must try and find them!

Not you as well... Sarah's always on about how good looking he is! Must make sure she doesn't find out he has a book out... I doubt she'd buy it for the recipes!
 
Had my piccy taken with Seve Ballasteros at the Belfry around 13-14 years ago in the English Open I think it was.
