Hi, everyone.

I am just wondering if anyone on here how as used or even heard of Falcon? And also if they are any good. The reason why I am asking, is that I have seen three key lenses that I am thinking of buying (of course not all at once..lol).

They are:

* Falcon 8mm Fisheye lens with a F3.5 apperture (click here)
* Falcon 500mm Telephoto lens with a F8.0 apperture (click here)
* Falcon 85mm MC lens with a F1.4 apperture (click here)

These are all as you can see are sold by the same guy, so my question is. Has anyone had any experance with Falcon lens, if so let me know, good or bad.

Many thanks.:)

You get what you pay for.

Manual focus only (all of them) and the 500mm is an f/8 so you'd need a lot of light before it became usable.

I think you'd be disappointed if you bought one.

If I recall correctly these are also badged as samyang. My friend has the fisheye (samyang) and says it's okay for producing pics at web size butanything more the sharpness is a letdown.

I have experience of the seller, he's certainly not in Glasgow, not unless they've moved it to Poland since I last looked out the window

Lots of feedback saying the items come from Poland and not Glasgow as stated in the auctions. As others have said above, you get what you pay for, £225 for an 85mm f1.4 lens is ridiculously cheap.

I bought an 8mm Samyang fisheye on e-bay from the main Polish distributor ( not sure if it's the same link above as I can't access ebay at work ) . The lens arrived in a couple of days and have been well impressed with the quality ( both build and image ) . For what I wanted a fish eye for ( ie a bit of fun every now and again ) it has been £180 well spent.

Was talking about this "range" of lenses yesterday. It crazy when you think about the costs , but they are a state of art company. Some reports and pics i have seen lend me to think they are a company to watch out for.

Could be the other way round

Nope, I dealt with him nearly 3 years ago and the auction location stated "Glasgow", but the stuff took 2 weeks and came from Poland. If you read his feedback this is still the case.
