Yes
Does £3299 from a dealer seem reasonable for a D3s body only first bought last October with 6000 actuations. Condition mint minus. merv:thinking:

You can get a brand new one for £200 more - if you have the funds - from Ask.co.uk, they're selling them for £3499.95.

But as I would love a D3s I would be tempted to go for the new one. Also if it was a choice between £3299 and over £4K then I think it dont need much working out.

Well, they're difficult to get hold of at the moment, but if you can then the price is around £3600. So a saving of less than 10% and you dont know what useage the camera has had?

Personally - i think not!

I have to agree with the above, if you can get it brand new for £3600 or less then I recommend going for a new one (+ nice 2 years warranty  ).

Yep if you can get a new one,for a couple £ more,i would go for it,as long as it is the a UK one with Nikon 2 year G/tee :)

Make sure you buy yourself some nice long glass to go with it though... for motorsport you might not comprehend what FX means in terms of loss of crop factor....

And it still meters the same way as your D300 does ;-)

Recent ones on eBay have sold for the £3,100-£3,200 mark with similar 'wear'; offer him £3,000 and see where it gets you!

No matter what, you'd be like me and buy it anyway....you're going to love it!

If you would settle for a D3 I know where there is a new one for £2399. Even now new ones are usually about three grand,if you can find one.
There is also a full frame Canon for the same price. I think the model number is eos 1d.
