failed firmware update

On my Panasonic G9ii camera the firmware updates don't work, if using Windows 11. Twice now trying to update the camera and lens firmware is impossible to do.
So I used my wifes Mac computer and uploaded without any problems.

Panasonic it seems to me they need to modernise their update programe

If you have downloaded the file more than once it will have a (1) after the filename, and will not be recognized by the camera, clear your downloads and hopefully that will sort it

Interesting, My panasonic G9 has the update as well. So it is the actual lens that gets the update not the camera

With regards to Firmware downloads for Panasonic cameras, I've never had any trouble regardless of the OS I've used. There is also a new Lumix Lab app that can push the firmware update directly to the camera which takes a few steps out of the equation.

Usually, I download the file to a computer/tablet/phone and pop it on the SD card as per Panasonic's instructions. Now I'm using Lumix Lab.
