I seem to be getting quite a few notifications of failed delivery on emails. But I haven't sent any emails in the first place. Anybody else getting the same or is it just me.:confused-

yep i get them regualalry too, its nothing you have done, its a trick from spammers to get you to read the mail, where you would normally delete it, and most mail filters will ignore a failed delivery message !

Either that, OR someone who has you in their address book, is infected with a virus or some sort, and is sending out emails, but putting your address as the sender, hence you getting the failures.

I had this with my domain address, I got hit with about 300 emails in an hour or something. Luckily it stopped as quickly as it started.

My spam trap addresses get loads of those, it will die out and something else will take over.

What annoys me are the folk who use the freebie email addresses with a low set storage and forget to clear out their old emails - then complain that you have not replied to them!

i get on average 30 emails a day, 30 of which are either telling me my bank account details need updating and to enter them on the net. **** OEM software junk,

oh and i recon if i added every penis extension together i could wrap myself round the world twice by now.

i also get some crappy mail out from some london venues telling me about what gigs they have on, i dont like near london and dont really care, but i cant get them to stop. arghhhh

Many PCs that were previously compromised by earlier 'Bagle' software have
now been re-awoken by several websites which have attempted to trigger them
into producing a flood of new spam messages.

If your machine is well protected with an anti-virus system and an outbound
firewall and provided has no 'Bagle' infection, it won't be affected. But
the renewed attack will lead to a resurgence of spam email on the Internet.

If the infected computer is using your email account as a spoofed 'From'
address, you may become the recipient or victim of 'collateral spam'
(representing error messages generated when infected email is turned away
by anti-virus systems elsewhere).

This could be the cause of some of the issues.

I had a load of it before...then it suddenly stopped. Now in the past few days its all come flooding in again.
At least I know where to get my medications now!...and viagra and just in case I need a penis extension!!!!!
