I remember back in the beginning there being a setting where you could set it so the your post is sent when you hit the return key. I can't find this setting now and I want to turn it off. Is this not an option any longer?

Also, a bit of a rant. Because of my hands, I sometime click twice instead of once which often means that, when I click to see replies, I also accidentally click someone's name and it takes me to their profile. What really bugs me is that clicking 'Back' doesn't take me back to where I was which is bloody annoying if I'd been reading through a long string of comments!

Hi Mark,
Can't you change your Mouse Double Click speed to "Fast", this basically ignores all but the very fastest 2-clicks.
You find it under "Control Panel / Mouse" in Windows (NB not "Settings" in Win 10).

Not really an option on a Mac John but it would just cause me problems when I do want to double click.

Same happens to me. It's partly just the general crapness of FB. I remember the setting. It might still be in the messages/chat pane to turn off.

Can't find it there either but a quick read of some complaints about the same issue suggests holding shift and pressing enter gives you the paragraph break without posting.

Pretty much figured that. It always amazes me how they have the time to make continuous changes but never address the real issues.

Thanks Suz, I'll give that a try

Yes, I use the Shft + Enter for a New Line to format my messages :)
