Facebook Profile Picture Changed

My Facebook profile picture has changed - in fact I never had one !

I have chnaged the password but how do I delete the image. Looking at the activity log I have also posted spam advertising Oakley sunglasses to some other FB pages.

Is there anything else I need to do as well please. I'm a total FB newbie using it only to view what the kids are up to and haven't posted anything on it for months

TIA for any advice you can offer
 
Changing the password should be sufficient.
Right click the photo and 'edit' should pop up with the option of deleting.
 
Do you use the same password for other websites etc?
Consider changing those as well.
 
you'll need to check to see if youve given any apps permission to post on your behalf.

chances are you clicked on a phoney story/article on FB and it asked you to give it permission to proceed.

Does this only apply if I use a Facebook app? I only access via an internet browser. As you can tell I'm not a keen fb user !
