I see Facebook have changed their way of viewing photos/ albums - the photo now opens in a lightbox-style pop-out. Which is fine, but is it my eyes or has the display quality got worse? I know Facebook always compress images, but just looking at a few now and they look really bad.
 
I hate it. If you refresh the page by F5 or cmd-R, it takes you to the old style, although not many people realise that.
 
Yes it is worse.
When you view the new album there is an option at the bottom left, under tag etc, to leave feadback on it.
I was quite vocal with mine.
 
What is facebook, is it slideshow software, is it free?

I prefer the old way where you don't have the new pop up window. Half the comments on my pics seem to have gone as well.

It also scales depending on screen size. If you hit F11 for full screen browsing it usually makes the viewing window a little larger. Still blows though.

How come you can upload 'hi-res' images, but they appear the same size & quality?

I also dislike the new one, it seems really cluttered and annoying to use. It also seems slower but that may just be me... I reckon they could have made the image area larger and got rid of some of the clutter.
 
I used to like the way you used to be able to see comments listed for an album easily. Now you can't. You can only see them with individual photos so you have to trawl through if you were having a conversation on a few.

Not really bothered about the lightbox thing but the square window approach which crops them all badly is a pain. Preferred it when the album photos showed the portrait and landscape format ones differently.
