I've been favouring the unfollow and unfriend buttons recently. Its ridiculous.
Mmm, can't say that I'm that keen on the idea. The dislike button will only serve to encourage the trolls, not to mention providing unwanted negativity.
If anything, the "like" button should be abolished altogether. That may encourage users to actually comment on something rather just be a lazy "like" machine gun. There's nothing worse than logging onto facebook to find something like 20 notifications and 19 of them are only "likes".
However, from what I've read so far, the dislike button is only going to be limited in appearance, mostly attached to news videos. Although "liking" a bad news does serve to "flag" up the article to other users, it does come across as looking a bit distasteful.
One last note, who can remember when it used to be a "I am a fan of . . . ".
Ah, but get rid of the "like" button and you'll have 19 comments saying "+1" "^^^ this", "I agree", "thumbs up" etc. I'm glad TP has a 'like' button, as it saves us from 90% of these. If anything, the "like" button should be abolished altogether. Bringing politics and your political view into a a thread that doesn't involve politics.
It was relevant to a FB thread as that is where BF post a lot of material. Let's not have a debate about the merits (or otherwise) of BF again, please?Bringing politics and your political view into a a thread that doesn't involve politics.

Yes. I've unfriended people for sharing "another angry voice" or "campaign for nuclear disarmament" material and those who shared pro Scotland separist material. A facepalm or dislike button wouldn't be sufficient for "people" who like that sort of claptrap.
I think I might have to save the pictureIts a startHow do we get the facepalm added to the official smiley list? Do I need to get out the?

I am deep in despair.I think the new one conveys more despair than the smiley one

Don't you require better friends? I don't get any of such shares from my circle of friends and acquaintances.
