Some people don't have the common sense they were born with. Doh!
 
Surely if there within a 6 month probationary period, they don't need to provide notice anyway???
 
I was being facetious ;)

Notice only in the sense of conveying the decision to the employee, rather than notice in the shorthand expression sense of a notice period.
 
Ah, they haven't invented the facetious smiley yet!! :D Could an employee give notice using the same method I wonder....:D
 
Oooooooooo that's gotta hurt.

It's like where we really have to be careful about slagging workmates off in Facebook, especially if you forget that you have them on your "Friends" list.

People I work with were disciplined over what they wrote on face book, only opinions but was a bit stupid to do it in public! :bonk:

when i used to have a job i used to tell my bosses regualarly how much i hated it lol
