Facebook Albums

I read about this, basically in the agreement with FB you give them the right to hold any uploaded photos which they use for 'monitoring' and safety. Complete BS in my opinion!

Do you mean he made FB the only place he had copies of his photos?
If so, then he was foolish - if you case about your photos you should have a master copy, and a secure backup, both of which you are in full control of. You can then post other copies where you wish, safe in the knowledge you will, at worst, loose access to a copy, not a master.
 
To be honest, I hate Facebook (even though I use it)

One unfortunate thing is the Share button, don't upload your decent photos, it takes one person to share it and then everyone's using it! It's not the first time that I've seen people using MY photos for their stupid timeline cover photo doo dar!

I just use it to contact a few ex colleagues etc, can't be buggered with these silly games that steal your information and these silly single mums spending their benefits on credits for such games! (End of rant)
 
True, noticed that after someone picked up on others using my photos :( nevermind though, I always take it as a positive that someone likes my photos!
