Well i got my Canon 70-200 2.8lL IS USM lens this morning cant watt to use it :canon: :thumbs:

You'll love it! Got mind just before christmas courtesy of a member on here selling some gear and in spite of it being a frightening amount of money, I don't see me regretting the purchase any time soon!

Glo - it is quite heavy - particularly when wandering with it on the camera, I usually find I keep camera and lens supported along my arm. In use it's taking a little bit of getting used to but the squidgers I posted in sharing at the weekend were all taken with it. For me the quality more than makes up for the weight though!
 
heheh:naughty: nice 60mm 2.8 macro looking for a new home, Neil - also doubles as a very sharp (almost) 100mm 2.8 portrait lens on a 1.6 crop.

LOL - that's the non-IS version. I thought it was pretty much obsolete now but I guess there are still some in stock to be had.

Kerso does about the best price I've sdeen for the IS version - I was going to get mine from him until Carl came along with his one for sale!
