Warrior Dude

With the new desk I am able to set up the background card quite easily next to
the computer so I can get back to the mini studio stuff. This is one of the
Greek warriors I have collected each time I've been to Greece. Unfortunately
this year I wasn't able to find one.​

We dont get kids knocking on the doors round here for stuff, by the looks of what i found while walking the dogs the following morning they was out egging.

Nice office, wish i had somewhere to lock myself away instead of gettings kids fingerprints over my screen when they see something

Day 307

itunes

Have been laid low by the dreaded lurgy for the last couple of days so have
used the time to put the cd collection into itunes. It's a bit of a long term
project as this little stack is only a very small part of the collection. Fun times ahead! ​

Now, there's a checkbox somewhere that you need to un tick if you don't want duplicates.

Where would that be? At the moment I put a cd in and it starts the import and I can't seem to find any preference settings.

iTunes is newer than when I did it, they may have tidied it up, or I have forgotten.

Anyway, to get into any current Apps preferences, press "cmd" + ","

Hmm, cmd+ didn't seem to do anything. More importantly it all just went south. I put a cd in but it didn't seem to recognise that a cd was there and wouldn't let me eject it. Tried rebooting and the who system froze. One forced reboot later and all seems to be working................phew!!

Was asked to photograph some cans by a work colleague as the design agency
doesn't have a budget for a photographer. Still, keeps me out of mischief. ​

Day 305

One trip to Ikea later

My old desk was huge but my actual working space was miniscule, it seemed
to be more storage that desk so I now have this far more simple but much
more spacious desk with the two shelving units on the right for the storage.
My office is still a mess but that'll be next weekend's little project. ​

Hi Marc. I've been too busy to post (or even lurk) much recently so just having a good catch up and glad to see this is still going strong. Just had a quality 15 minutes catching up.

Where did you get the desk from? I need one just like it but a mirror copy so the narrow bit is on the righ not the left.

It's from Ikea Neil. They come in either left or right handed at £179. It's bigger than it looks in the pic, we had a right old time getting it in the back of a Renault Scenic! :nuts:

The Three Primes

Off to the London meet tomorrow and have decided to travel light so I'm
taking one body (without grip) and just these three lenses. My intention is to
just use the 50mm f1.4 but I want the safety net of the 28mm and 105mm.​

Go proper hardcore and only take the 28mm.

Survived today's London meet. Got to see some familiar faces and got to
