More Rain!

It's absolutely chucking it down, when will it end? Well, if the weather forecast
is to be believed, tomorrow. Apparently it's going to be warm and sunny for the

The Old Girl

Whinnie is 27 years old and still got plenty of spring in her!

So, the end of my first week at work for 16 months and I'm still alive! I'm
bloomin' shattered though but it really is great to be back in work.​

Day 220

The Incredible Sulk!

Well today is annual booster jab day for Miki and Mysti and, as you can tell,
Mysti is not 'appy! It took supreme effort for Sue to get hold of her to put her
in the carrier (Miki is relatively easy as he's a dozy Tom) and involved Sue literally
turning the bedroom upside down. All this and shelling out £70 at the vet's and are they
grateful? Got to go through all this again when we take them to the cattery next month!​

Day 221

Full Steam Ahead

Spent the day at the Pitstone Farm Museum Open Day, promoting our camera
club. We set up lights in one of the barns and, using an old cart as a backdrop,
did portrait shots in exchange for donations to the museum. Raised £40.​

Sunflower

Not been too well today, actually got half way to work before having to turn
round and come home. Absolutely gutted at having to take a sicky after only
one week but they were understanding when I phoned. Determined to be there tomorrow.​
