Day 192

Day192.jpg

I take thee...............

Well, the day went well although it was extremely warm in the church. This is
the only shot I've done anything with and I'm noit even going to start looking
at any others until at least tomorrow as we only got back late this afternoon
and I'm absolutely shattered.

great stuff marc..love the wedding shot

i've been togging all day today,so i'm in two minds as to wether i take my kit to london tomorrow...sometimes you just need a break

Thanks Stan. If you don't take your camera you'll regret it, I would join you in London but I've got a new telly being delivered tomorrow! :woot:

Hope the wedding went well mate. looks like a nice starting point you have there.

The bride and groom were ok hiring a spanish cleaner to do the photos :naughty:.

md:wave:

Been waiting for the wedding shot mate, glad you enjoyed it.
Was it a mixed race marriage? Only asking as I get some different skin tones depending on how I do my mono conversions.

Weddings are exhilarating aren't they Marc?? I sympathise with how you feel, you will get sick of looking at the same shots again and again, but you will find yourself inexplicably drawn to do another one!!

Indeed, I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely do another (But I'd charge more! :naughty: :D).

Glad it went well :D

I alway wanted to see that blooming dome lit up at night, from where i used to live you could see straight across to it but it was never lit! Never been that close either

Thanks Lisa. We could see the dome lit up through the window at the reception on Saturday night but I was way too knackered to take a picture of it! :D

Glad the wedding went well Marc.

I often sit on my pics for a day or two after an event to get my head straight before editing. I find it helps.

And  for the B&W conversion :D

Thanks Chris. I got home and uploaded them to my external hard drives (I felt much more relaxed once everything was backed up) but didn't start looking at them properly until today.

On the notts/ derbys border, used to live in kent.

Ah yes, I see the 200 miles now! :D

Day 194

New Toy!

New telly delivered today, finally! :bang: The installation kguys turned up at
10.30 this morning thinking I already had the TV here as that is what it said on
their docket. They then spent the rest of the day trying to locate it and finally
came back at 6pm to install it!!

Gutted, all that additional needless waiting...
The whole day must have been torture!

Ahhh, time well spent, I'd have been pacing up and down wearing out the carpet lol.

Cool nice new telly! I cant be doing with all the waiting around for stuff to come, does my nut in!

Mine too. I had a couple of occasions last year when a heating engineer was supposed to come and was supposed to call me first thing in the morning to give me a rough idea of time. On both occasions he didn't phone, I contacted th8e company who couldn't get hold of him and a didn't turn up at all. I was working jthen and had taken days off especially! :bang:
