Fabs' 365 for 2009.....Fin

Chris (Cobra) demonstrating field craft to photograph a baby deer. Problem is,
he showed too much of it and got too close for the focal length of his lens![/CENTER]

:p
( But your right, I did :( :D )
Also I believe that congrats are in order Marc

Clematis

Was recovering today from the exertions of the last
two days so just did a little wander round the garden.

Yesterdays shot is nice and 'crisp' mark, and there's some 'funky bokeh' going on just abouve the flower :)

Thats def not something id expect to see at Whipsnade! Never been is it good?

I really like your Millennium Bridge pic, i think the people add something to it.

Nice flower shot. I like the colour of it!

Thanks Lisa. The Whipsnade one was a special Zoo Nights event where there was additional entertainment. :D

Thanks Chris. The funky bokeh may have been caused by the use of fill flash.

Day 190

Orchid

A few years ago, Sue bought an orchid for next to nothing (They're usually
quite expensive) and she was very proud that it had lasted so well but then
one of the cats managed to knock it off a few times and it finally gave up the
ghost. Thankfully Tescos started a special promotion on, you guessed it,
orchids! Couldn't turn down the chance to earn some brownie points could I! :naughty: :D

189.. heels down, shoulders back and sit up tall, i can hear a teacher now  Nice looking horsey, i will never own a grey as they always need a bath to look clean!

190... Sainsburys usually have them for £5. Got one for my mum last year, think she must have killed it  Nice looking one you got there and brownie points are always good

Good luck though im very sure you wouldnt need it!

As you do weddings ill ask a quick question, i got permission to pop along to a wedding in August and can have a play outside the church, do you think the 24-70mm is the best lens? Only ever been to one wedding and that was when i was about 9/10!

Actually tomorrow is my first wedding. ;) As for the 24-70, it's very popular with wedding togs although it may be not be wide enough on a crop sensor, hence why I have a 10-20 as well.

I think I saw DD say something along the lines of "full length, 3/4, headshot, kiss" as a shot progression for b&g shots, it actually stuck with me and helped quite a lot. If in doubt, make them kiss. Sometimes the pre-kiss look with a full head shot makes a great candid. (That came across as if I know what I'm talking about, only 3 weddings done!)

You will either love it or hate it Marc, I found it to be an incredible rush. Good luck!!:thumbs:

Looking Good Marc.

I haven't looked in here for a while now Marc, but I'm glad to see you are still going strong and the shots are as good as ever.

Good luck with the wedding. I hope everything goes spiffingly well and look forward to seeing some shots.

I will definatly poke my head through the door and look in here more often from now on.
