Day 177

Blossom

Benn trying to get a pic of one of the goats who live at the livery yard for quite
some time. Today was the first time I've managed to get anything half decent!

Cue the Sound of Music theme tune! Looks like the one of the goats in the film!!!

Can't say I paid that much attention to the goats in the film Clive, something you want to tell us?

Blimey I thought everyone knew the film scene by scene! It's on telly that often!!

I find the 2x a little too much on most lenses, but still, if it gets you a shot that you would otherwise miss.....

Thanks Chris. That's just it, I have a Sigma 50-500 but just wanted to campare the IQ with the 70-200 IQ + TC. Another option would be to sell the Sigma and buy the Sony 70-400 but that would still mean splashing the cash.

and losing the 2.8 throught the 70-200 range.

I like the polo shot even if you are not happy with the quality it looks ok at forum sizes :)

Also really like 180, it's rare to see a scene like that with just a couple of people visible, very good.

Great shot, looks like the same trouble i have running my mare up, the ginger one doesnt like to move unless your riding her then she likes to bomb off! Hope she doesnt have any probs!

Love the goat shot too!

Thanks Lisa. I think Tin didn't want to move as it was too hot, and who can blame her.

Thanks. 180 was taken in the evening so most people had started to move away by then.

What did I miss? What did I miss?

Gosh, spend a few days away and he's won a cup AND been published by The Times!

I'm not worthy.... :notworthy: :notworthy:

Congrats Marc... brilliant stuff!

lovely cat you've got there Mark :D

Congratulations on reaching the half way stage Marc. Great standard of photography.
