My Rock

I want to introduce you to someone who has literally been my rock. Yes, I know it sounds cliched, but It is so fitting. Sue and I have been together for 21 years, married for over 17 years. She is also my best friend and the support she has given me since my illness began has been unwavering from day one. From the day I was diagnosed she has never panicked, always showed a strength of optimism in the future.

I am a firm believer in that for a marriage to be truly successful, the two parties should be best friends and I know now, as I did 21 years ago, that we will always be together.

As for my day today, I have been happy and with energy. Thanks for looking and reading.

Thanks Sean. The thought did cross my mind but it's personal to this thread. I'll just have to get some more creative juices flowing for POTY. ;)

Frustration

I've lost count of the number of jobs I've applied for. There doesn't seem to be anything out there at my skill/experience level and, when I apply for something at a slightly lower level, I get a response of "Over Experienced"! :bang: Got one of those today and really did feel like banging my head against a wall. See? You son't have to have a job to have a Monday! ;)

On a better note, I've spent the afternoon completely revamping my office and now have loads of space to use as a sort of mini studio. Just need to get myself a backdrop of some kind, thinking of attaching a curtain pole to the top of the wall and hanging something from that.

I just noticed that you're also using that bloody centered text too :p You'd think if centered text was actually any good that all the newspapers, magazines and websites would do it :p Anywho... Sorry to hear about you being overqualified and I hope your mini studio works out :)

If there was some way to justify or left align the text in the middle it'd be fine.

Don't tell them about your experience lol.
The last company I worked for has an advert in every job centre, there are 30 locations nationwide. There are no jobs available.

Actually I'm convinced that the agencies advertise jobs that don't exist just to get you on there books. I keep getting calls telling me that the jobs have already gone. :bang::bang::bang:

Looks like you'll have to resort to what 95% of the people who apply for jobs do......... Lie :D

Good luck in the hunt, and well done for getting the feeling into a picture

I missed yesterday's pic due to an early night followed by a long day.

Lovely shots and lovely sentiment :D You should have entered that for this months comp (if it's allowed!)

Today's is great too - you have a very expressive face and you capture it really well.

Good pic Marc really portrays how your felling, fortunately I have a job unfortunately I absolutely hate it, been looking for a new one for quite a while now so I know about the frustration, people always say it's easier to find a job when you working, well i say thats a right loads of old b*ll*ck's.
