Fabs' 365 for 2009.....Fin

Day 15

Day15.jpg

Fatigue

One of the worst symptoms of MS. It doesn’t just mean being tired all the time, it means that the brain cannot function properly and the world seems to slow down. Imagine feeling so tired that you feel you would drop off to sleep as soon as your head hits a pillow, so you decide to go and lie down only to find that you cannot actually get to sleep because you cannot stop your thought process.

This has been my day today. I have a relaxation CD which often helps, but on some days it does not and today has been one of those days. This has left me feeling really down so not a happy 365 day today I’m afraid but I take solace in the fact that there will be better days to come and probably, hopefully, tomorrow will be one of them.

Even so, I can still have a laugh on here!

Love the use of light in the photo Marc and it really sums up how you feel today. It certainly resonates with me but you put it much better than I could :)

Love it. It's really expressive. I am looking forward to each of your shots in anticipation!

Thanks Kitten

Very expressive.
Have you tried meditation to try and clear out the though process, along with the relaxation CD?

It's my next port of call. Know any good techniques?

Well done mate,
I have been exhausted before and know how hard it is to do anything at all, but you still pulled through with a photo and had a play with lighting too, good effort, hope you feel better tomorrow.

Day 16

This way/That way

Fully awake today, haven't had to go and lie down at all. In fact it's been quite the opposite, haven't known which way to turn. Been busy busy preparing for the weekend. Still had time for a play in my "studio" (A small corner of my office consisting of two flashguns mounted on a tripod and a monopod. Oh yeah, and a camera too! :D Been having great fun trying bits and pieces and also having a bit of Photoshop practice, hence today's shot. ;)

Looking forward to a busy weekend as well. New horse arriving at our yard tomorrow, well actually it's an old friend bringing their horse who was a fieldmate of our horse at an old yard. :woot:

Anyway, as you can probably tell, I'm very happy today and wishing you all a fabulous weekend to come!

great processing , my eyes keep darting around each 3 ( if that makes sense)

Busy, busy I really like this image. Keep up the good work Marc.

excellent visual representation of what you're feeling inside. You're so good at this!

Day 15 and 16 are fantastic...they really suit the mono conversion :) Well done!

I like the 3 heads very much, conveys how you have felt today and also that you may wake up with a different one tomorrow.

Missed yesterdays sorry mate great shot very somber and very well lit, and todays is great love the effect might have to try that one :)

Sean

Day 17

Day17.jpg

Sod's Bleedin' Law!

Had a really good day spending time at the yard, chatting with friends and welcoming the new arrival. Then came home ready to do my 365 with a nice happy smiley face and then BAM, a migraine! :bang: Had to wait an hour before I could even see the camera properly, let alone use it! Ah well, maybe tomorrow I'll be able to post that happy smiley photo.

Oh yeah, an apology. I did promise at the beginning that I wouldn't subject you all to loads of self portraits, well..........................................I lied, it's way too much fun! :D

I can live with your little white lie Marc. ;);)

I think this thread has produced some of the best photography I've seen from you. Hope the migrane clears up soon.

Thanks Mark. It's already gone, fortunately they are few and far between and don't last too long. Just completely wipe me out when they do happen.

Oooohhhh, i feel for you matey. I suffer from regular (2-3 time a week) Migraines, so know how debilitating they can be.

Are you on anything for them? I tried alsorts and ended up on Zomig (a triptan tablet). It says "May Cause Drowsiness" on the box. What it should say is "Don't make any £"%$"%ing plans!"

Hope you're back on track soon :)

Not easy when your head is banging is it?
I hope we all have clear heads next week!
