Fabs' 365 for 2009.....Fin

Day 53

Day53.jpg

2 Days to go.............

Until I go to Focus!

Unfortunately just after I took this shot, I went to turn the camera off and
there was an awful vibrating noise and the AF gears were stripped in my
Sigma 24-70! Exactly the same thing happened to my 105mm last year, so
it's back to Sigma and I'll be without it for at least 4 weeks! :bang::bang:

Where's your hoodie Marc?!! Now that would complete the picture. You'd be a proper youth then!

Just catching up Fabs, busy few days! Love the Writing shot, very evocative and very brave too. Agree it could easily be a stock photo. Like the 'Home Alone' shot, really encapsulates the frustration you're going through.

Hope you enjoy Focus really wish I could go. Next year though :)

Nice shot Marc hope you have a good time at Focus, sorry and worried to hear about your lens as I have the same one though it's Canon fit hope they get it sorted quickly.

Speaking of lenses I think I should get up and use one I still haven't shot anything for today yet really can't be bother to be honest but I'll find something.

Wouldn't worry about yours Sean. It's apparently a common problem with the Sony A700 in that the AF motor can be too powerful for the Sigma's plastic gears. Now dig out that camera and take a pic! ;)

Just completed a huge catch up Marc, sorry for not posting more regularly.

Sorry to hear about the Lens, and that on top of the car as well. :shake:

Still really enjoying the 365 and I hope you are too.

Thanks Mark, no need to apologise mate.

Just had a bit of good news about the car. The damage will be accepted as wear and tear and, as there are no sharp edges and nothing is loose, I won't have to get it repaired so I don't have to pay an excess! :woot:

Day 54

Day54.jpg

Hmmmm!

Haven't been feeling quite myself for the last couple of days. Been fine one
minute and then angry with the world the next. Even find myself angry at
things that haven't even happened. Then Petemc posted his Creativity and Depression
thread and BAM, it hit me! The depression is back and at times it's
nauseating, I find myself almost disappearing into a void and I can end up in
a completely different part of the house without realising how or why.

Have another psychologist appointment next week, think it may be time to step it up.

Marc, i wont even try to comprehend the types of mood swings that you 'suffer' from (is that the right way to describe it ), but i will say that the pictures you post help people relate to them in a very simple way, and for that we can all thank you

Aww, thanks a lot Chris. Yes, I suppose you could call them mood swings although they are mostly internal so it's not always obvious to others. The pics are more of an interpretation of those inner feelings rather than actual expressions........................or am I getting too deep. :bonk:

Sorry to hear Marc about the way you feel at the moment.

One thing I can guarantee you'll enjoy Sunday. That'll lift your spirits.

I am so looking forward to Sunday, it is taking the edge off at the moment. Just got to pray for the weather now.

I suppose if I was in your team Marc we could call ourselves The Fabs Three!

Good work on the photoshopping...you wouldn't be able to spot the join if you weren't looking ;)

Good shot there Marc, sorry to hear your feeling down hope you feel better and things pick up for you very soon and as JD said hang in there mate.

Thats what I was wondering I just spent 5 minutes looking at your pic and Im now confused

Thanks Sean. I guess we'll have to wait for phil to explain that one, if not I'll accost him at Focus tomorrow. :boxer: :D

Sorry to hear you're down Marc. As for the join, does he mean the area in the bottom left hand corner where you're zip appears to cut through the picture?

Day 55

The only photo............

..........................I took at Focus today.

But I enjoyed myself and didn't spend much. In fact only bought a couple of
Optech rain sleeves. Also met up with Neil (Ranarama) and went for a wander.
Legs are absolutely knackered now though and I'm sure I'll pay for it tomorrow.

Was that the queue at the bar??? Nice candid shot fabs, though you english certainly need a lesson in how to get a drink, queue to the left?? I don't think so!!!

Yep, that was in Wetherspoons.I just went up to the bar and was tld of for not queuing on the correct side! :$

all these focus photos are making me wish i had time to go

even did a womans hair at work today whos husband had gone :(

There's some sad looking folks in that queue. It must have been a long wait.;)

Glad you enjoyed Focus, I may go next year, mind you I keep saying that.

Naturally

Apologies for the boring pic today but I'm feelying particularly uninspired and
lazy today. Can't seem to get any motivation from anywhere. It's the MKPA
(Milton Keynes Photographic Association) Print Competition tonight and our
camera club is hosting, so maybe I will find some inspiration there.
