cracking quali again, Most impressed with the young Rosberg, he had raced at Bahrain before but not this circuit, impressive or what?!

There is still some official discussions going on about the punishment for engine changes, and until it is finalised they are not publishing the grid slots for tomorrow GP as certain teams/drivers are hoping to not suffer the 10 place relegation. I doubt anything will come of the protests this weekend but there may be changes over the next few GP's especially since they have had to change to V8's.

Due to the way that qualifying is now done, the positions for the start do not necessarily represent the true speeds, it all depends on the fuel loads. I actually like it this way though and tomorrows F1 will be interesting, especially since the majority of teams/drivers will be on the second race from the same engines and reliability is a concern.

Rosberg is looking like a true professional, especially when you think that he has never driven this track before this weekend!!
 
whats the german coverage like Steve? Or are you missing James 'on the bublble' Allen?
 
Dunno TBH, I missed last weeks but I am all set for tomorrows. I will be watching the German coverage complete with German commentary :dizzy: So I will be guessing at what is really going on :confused:
 
much like the uk when Allen is in full flow then...

you got Boris Becker doing some reporting on F1 apparently? See a picture of him shoving a microphone in schues face earlier..

Now see that is exactly the kind of reaction that needs an inspirational speaker like Mr Allen to help you overcome these feelings :whistle2: Love & Hate are very close you know....come on ...admit it. Is it because he's unatainable ?......you never know.....weirder things have happened....
 
^^You must be the only person that understands what he is going on about then. Perhaps you can explain the term "on the bubble" and "in the drop zone" for me?

I reckon I could do a better job of commentating than James Allen.
 
I would take "on the bubble" to mean doing something accurately, slang taken from the use of a spirit level.

And "in the drop zone", well either a crucial time to do something, or in a place you don't really want to be...

...both are just a guess though :D :confused-
