How will a petition help? It's a done deal isn't it? Contracts signed and all that.

contracts mean nothing in F1, all Bernie wants is money..

just look at the Donnington debacle a couple of years ago.

that said, I won't sign (yet) because I think F1 financing has a need to reform and refocus on the paying public, this will only happen with a financial collapse.

actually I wish the whole lot had gone to sky, I would probably have paid sky or RTL, but millions wouldn't watch at all.

That just means that things will only change if Bernie wants them to so I don't think he's going to bow to any petition.
 
A bit pointless having a petition to Government, when the parties to a private contract are international corporations.
It has nowt to do with HMG, they have no influence over it, so why try and involve them?
 
I agree with most of your views, but it's only a signature!

I've signed a couple on the basis that it demonstrates the stength of fans's opinion.
It may well get ingnored but it's no hardship to stand up & be counted:shrug:
