Yes
I couldn't keep my excitment to myself :D A bag that looks like it ticks all the boxes. I've gone for the big one, the Satori exp. I'll let you all know my thoughts when it arrives. All I know for now is they are expensive

I looked at them but could stretch to anywhere near the price :( they do look awesome from what I've seen, hope it's as good as they look.

My Satori arrives tomorrow too so I understand your excitement!

Is the bag itself water proof?? It has a tag on side with "H2O" on it.

Very nice, but the prices!

It uses water repellent material but you can buy a waterproof cover to ensure stuff stays completely dry. The H2O label is where the tube comes out if you use a water bladder like a Platypus.

AH righty. And these ICU add-ons, that's basically the padded divider section, where you insert your gear? why would anyone need more than one? I notice for all bags there are options to buy multiple ones.

Seems Very expensive, I do like the water-proof skin, it would be more than enough for my needs [not much more than light rain/showers] and I like the style. If I'd not recently bought a roller bag, which I don't really want :/ ... I'd be looking for one of these maybe. Not from the states though, any euro stockists?

They have a warehouse in the Netherlands so European orders ship from there.

The beauty of the ICU system is you can use different sizes. For example say I am going out on the hills and want to take my 500mm, some waterproofs and lunch. I can put it in an XL ICU in the Satori which will for my 500. However if I was backpacking around Europe and only wanted minimal kit I could put my camera and one or 2 short lenses in a small or medium ICU and use the rest of the space in the bag for clothes etc.

OK, because when I choose postage to Ireland it's telling me that will be an extra $200+!! I quit right there :D

Weird. Maybe contact them? They are very quick to reply. I haven't purchased from them before. I have a friend who got one in London in the Paramo store I think. Mine will get here tomorrow which I bought on the forum.

If anyone has any questions I can hopefully answer them as I have been researching fstop bags for a while and I've used my friends too.

Neil

Cheers, might get back to you on that. I need to offload the roller bag I bought recently first. I have contacted the store I bought that from to ask about a return for store credit. I haven't used the bag, it's still got tags and all attached - so hopefully they do the sensible thing. Or I'll take my business elsewhere ;)

Fancy something more like these F-stop bags for travel.

I use the Loka for lugging my kit around...very comfortable to carry all day

The reason for the multiple offering of inserts is to satisfy varying kit sizes.

Cagey75 - Postage from the EU warehouse to the EU is a standard 5 USD. There is an option to change the type of shipping later in the order. As said above though, they have live online help that is very good and instant it you have any question. I ordered a slim ICU and then asked them an estimated delivery date. They replied December as they were out of stock. They then said they had pro size ICUs in stock and if i wanted on of those instead they could change the order right away and I would have the bag by the end of the week.

I am a keen mountaineer and f stop bags are the only ones i've found that will hold outdoor kit and camera kit at the same time. I just wish they did an even bigger one! The only whinge from me is having to pay for a rain cover. All my other mountain packs have them as standard.

I'll have a look at that now, thanks :)

I've decided to keep the roller bag, or the missus has convinced me too, as she can use it as a travel bag [minus dividers] ... so we both get use out of it. Makes it seem a little less extravagant of a purchase.

I still want one of these babies though, of course! Don't we always want more? :D

[edit] They're still only offering UPS over $200 for me when I check shipping, the $5 option says Canada only :/

Yeah, I'm doing a good job not buying one for now aren't I? :D

Nice purchase. I've been eying the Kenti for dual body with lens attached. What colour did you go with? Grey mist was such a nice colour but can understand why it wasn't so popular.

Imagine grey mist after a few dozen treks through mud? I'd go black.

I've gone green, soon to be brown :)

Cagey - at the stage where you get to shipping options there is a drop down box that says carrier UPS. click on it and select the other option and standard shipping europe will apper - $5 :) I'm not helping you not buy one am I:)

oops, I should spell check, that should read appear.

Oh, why did you say that!? That could be a very expensive comment for me...

Going to go have a look tomorrow now... I've been interested in getting one for a few years but never been able to persuade myself to buy one without trying it first.

I was the same until I saw one in the classifieds. I now have a Satori EXP and couldn't be happier. No ICU but my Dakine ICU fits as do the dividers from my Peli 1510.

Very comfy, lots of pockets, very well made. Awesome bag!

I'm glad I picked up the one I got. Lots of people seem to want an fstop bag on here this week!!

With the deliveries from Belgium I'm assuming there is no extra tax to pay, unlike the deliveries from the US?

Yep, no extra tax :)

My Satori exp with 1 icu and the rain cover cost £287.33 all in.

Just wish I was in yesterday when they tried to deliver it. Now have to wait until mon to go and pick it up.

Stupid price but I still want one... I walked to the paramo shop yesterday and it turns out they don't have any of the bigger bags in stock at the moment... well worth the half hour wonder there! ;)
