Has anyone got a F-Stop Loka UL37L camera back pack?. I am thinking about buying one and wondered if this bag has dividers inside or do you have to buy a separate ICU.
 
As already mentioned the ICUs are sold separately. This leads to a lot of flexibility.

I have 2 Mountain Series packs and 4 ICUs ( S, M, L and XL) and depending on what I am packing can swap ICUs about. If I’m out for a day walk I can put a medium ICU and have plenty of extra space for food and clothes.
 
I have the regular Loka and love it. I use either the Pro M ICU (discontinued) or the Pro L ICU if I want both bodies in there with lenses attached (16-35 and 100-400). I think the UL Loka is the same size, just the construction/material used is a lighter weight. I actually prefer the Loka over the newer equivalent sized Ajna.

Does this bag allow access from the back or sides? The pictures I have seen suggest that, in order to gain access to the gear in the bag, you need to remove the ICU through the top. At a minimum, this would seem to require removing non-camera gear placed in the bag. Am I misunderstanding how the bag is desgined?
 
The regular Loka has rear access and according to https://fstopgear.com/products/packs/loka-ul , so does the UL.
I wondered for a moment if the UL didn't have it, but it does. You can see in the sixth photo on that link, the zip around the back panel which will allow you access. It looks exactly the same as on a regular Loka.

Thanks. I confess that I still do not see it clearly on the photo you mention - there may be a zip just visible but they don't mention this option in the description. Still, you have the bag and see it directly which is what matters :-)
 
As far as I’m aware all of the current f stop bags have a rear access panel (the ones I currently have). The ICUs fit inside the bag and you can swap different ones in and out (usually via the top access but smaller ones can come out the rear access). For the Loka UL the small, medium and large ICUs fit. All f stop bags have small attachments inside to hold the icu in place.

The UL series are lighter weight and construction to the mountain series. The major differences are the ULs have stretch fabric side pockets and waist belt zip pockets whilst the mountain series have zipped side pockets and waist belt straps. I find the UL pockets much better on the smaller sized bags because you can fit a small tripod inside them and strap up the top end to the bag. With the mountain series you can fit one leg inside the pocket and strap the top end to the bag. The only thing I miss in the loka UL is the key fob attachment. That was useful for keeping keys safe or a small torch and battery/memory card pouch.

Depending on how much camera kit you are going to put in depends on if you best going for the smaller bags or larger bags like the Tilopa. If it’s big heavy wildlife primes then better harness of the tilopa is worth going for. Smaller lighter kit is fine with the smaller bags.
