F&C at the TP Meggameet

It appears that the large format, rurex (a new word to describe rural exploring) portrait shoot was succesful. Six negatives drying in the sun all seem to have images. And we've invented a new genre.

Super weekend everyone, nice to meet new people and bearable to meet old ones again. :D

Fantastic weekend. Great to meet everyone.

And a big thank you to the organisers.

Looking forward to the next one already.

Surely in Mrs Nod's automobile you'd be here in 20 minutes ;)

Fastest I've done similar (Colney Heath, Herts - Exeter) was many years (about 25) ago - 1:55. No cameras, 2am, Suzuki GS550 at full wrist! Wouldn't (and couldn't) do it these days - too many cameras and too much working (although maybe not grown up!) brane!!!

I got home about half an hour ago. Thanks for a really good weekend everyone. Really good to put faces to forum names and of course to spend two days chilling out with a selection of cameras. The location was great, I think I've shot more in the last two days than I have in the last 6 months and we even managed some guerrilla developing with a selection of drinks bottles and washing up bowls!

Thanks all and see you all again soon hopefully

I've had instruction from @Yv to post this in here (and I always do as I'm told ;))

"How the hell do we make people think we know what we're doing here?"

What a brilliant weekend, thanks to the organisers for all their hard work. It was great to see some old faces again and finally put faces to some familiar forum names.

Agreed, an excellent weekend all round and great to see everyone. Many thanks to the organisers :)

T'missus is not best pleased that I came home with one more camera than I left with but I've told her that it's her fault for not being there to stop me. Thanks to Steve for the SP, I'll hopefully put a film through it soon and will post up some results.

I counted all my cameras out and I counted them all back in again, thus The CMS was unperturbed. :D

Oh lordy..... I can't wait to see the ones from sunday morning....

With regards to Sunday morning I do have a good one of you propping a tree up..

I think a few of us may have recorded that one, just to make sure we have it ;)

Suppose I need to think about finishing off these films so I can dev them.

Well all you guys were so eager to play with my T70 somehow the rubber thingie of the viewfinder came off :D I forgot to ask where it was found as I used the T70 for about 15 shots (now and again) but can't remember when it came off.

What a brill weekend.........................(y)

Excellent to put faces, names and pseudos together of those folk I've never seen before and to actually get to meet the "management" although once is probably enough for anyone tbh in the case of @Yv :D:D:D

@excalibur2 Brian, an absolute pleasure .....Top man for taking time and effort to come and see us  and that RB67 set up ......... serious piece of kit right up my street although with its size and weight, it's probably more suited to Dean @Strappy :p

@simon ess Simon, Many thanks for taking collection of the etrs winder for me and not forgetting ( unlike some lesser mortels @stevelmx5 @RaglanSurf :p:D) to bring it with you and of course to Richard @medwaygreen for the "permanent" loan:D

@RaglanSurf Nick, cheers for the lift back to the hotel on sunday .......I only asked for it as i knew it was the opposite direction to your planned route:D

Hats off to all involved in the organising and behind the scenes stuff (y)

As for the rest of ya, digi and film alike, cool set of guys and gals, who, imho, make TP the best photography forum around.

Here's to the next time ......all being well the lakes in Oct.;)

Thank you to the filmies who let me have a play with your cameras. Those wobbly split-prism focus screens (that you never see on AF digitals) were really neat. :D

Sadly, having checked out the KatzEye site I was told about, to see if they had anything like that available for my Canon, I found they've gone out of business. :(

and the solution is...........................................................

Shoot with a FILM camera / lens ;)(y)

You'll never want to return to that strange digi side :D

Thank you for those kinds word Asha and it was pleasure to meet you and all the other guys and take my hat off to you for coming all the way from France. Everyone was so friendly but I instinctively knew they would be....and my apologies to Simon in the pub if I missed something as with my bloody hearing I never heard a word you said  can anyone lend me a pair of ears on permanent loan.(y)
One of the problems in using two 35mm cameras is using the film up in both cameras, well on the T70 I'll just have the 15 shots taken done, my other camera has 12 shots on 36 exp film  anyway I'll take a ride to Asda for one film to get some shots posted quicker but to use the film up in the other camera will take a while, but if the weather is nice sunday we are going to have a barbie and if I can start the food before 12 o'clock and take some shots that might fit into the "good morning" challenge h'mmm well.................................................

You were lucky Brian.

Everyone else had to hear my endless verbal diarrhoea all night.

Yeah, come to think of it I seem to recall your ears pricked up whenever "CHEAP" or "50p" was mentioned :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
