I have paid the deposit for Ebenezer Chapel this morning :) So, we need to collect your deposits of £25 per person. I'll get 'admin' @Andysnap to message you with our bank details etc.

Balance is due around the end of July. I'll confirm actual costs nearer the time once we know whether Donut and Rob are coming. Expect it to be around £60 - £70 ish per person in total for the weekend.

The funds will be in the bank this morning. Many thanks Mrs Snap.(y)

Fake money sent by carrier cat .now , where exactly is this peak district ? And does a bus go near there?

With my hearing I'm hoping the locals don't speak in a funny way :D

To be perfectly honest we are not actually stopping in the Peak District, nearby but not in. We are in the Derbyshire Dales.

I've spoken to Mike today and he's going to confirm if he can make it or not tonight.

Cheers

MACODIRECT

I'll be ordering some film etc for myself fairly soon ( probably next month) from macodirect.

iirc i can make a fair size order up without additional postal fees so if any of you guys want film (chems / liquids are not an option!) then I'm happy to order what you want and bring with me to Derbyshire where you can pay me in them pound coins that you have over there! lol

All the film purchased will be fridge stored until my departure from here in September.

Drop me a PM if you want stuff and I'll do my best to help you out.

Good idea Asha but probably a little too soon for me to be thinking about ordering film for the Peaks/Derbyshire Dales trip.

...but the film is dearer than Calumet ATM?

If i leave it til say august, the likelyhood the film we want will be unavailable ( sods law 'n all that) and we will be dealing with backorders etc etc.

The offer is there anyway ......it's not obligatory to take me up on it:D

I have no idea Brian....I don't buy from Calumet

I know Maco has been mentioned by some on here before to be an option for obtaining film if a decent sized order was made to make postal fees viable.

I'm happy enough to be the "mule" if it helps others out.;)

Fair point Asha, I might have a look at some sheet film, most of my colour stuff is OOD so perhaps a box of shiny new in date film would be a good idea.

I could be tempted personally. If the exchange rate at the time isn't totally pants, I'd be tempted to get a box of portra 160 and for the sake of trying it again, a box of ektar 100.

I've only taken a very quick look but if you were interested in b&w sheet film there's some Rollei 5x4 25 iso / asa...................... I seem to recall that you like slooooooooooow films:p:)

As for costing....whatever the equivalent euro / GBP exchange is at the time of purchase, that's the amount I'd request in sterling.
If it's changed in your fvour by the time September comes .....Tough! :D

Well Asha I'm not criticising your generous offer but just pointing out that Calumet have better prices, well for common film.....maybe they don't post to France h'mm or anywhere as I only popped in once about 30 years ago o_O

Critiscism not taken;) ( although looking back on it, my response did come acros a tad "cold":sorry:)
Like anyone else I always look around for decent prices but more often than not the pound / euro exchage makes buying from other euro currency countries more viable, although sometimes the postage can cost as much as having it shipped from the UK:confused:

Just checking prices yesterday, and Macodirect really seem to have increased a lot, plus reduced their stock. Not as expensive as Silverprint though (because of added VAT in the latter case).

A point as Calumet prices might be excluding VAT, they do a price promise compared to other suppliers and free del over £50

Apart from the obvious what do we need to bring, would it be:- towel, flannel, soap, tooth brush, shaving gear, comb, knife and fork or spoon, cup, plate and washing up liquid for Andy to do the dishes in the sink.

Your Teddy to cuddle up to so that you're not lonely at night cos you're not cuddling me:eek::D ......i'm bringing mine so i'll need à king size bed as she's kinda HUGE! :D:D

Ok on a more serious tone ( how boring :D) is it à sleeping bag set up or is bed linen provided?.....

Teddy bear? you are showing your age :D even tweetie pie is out...it's Pandas, cats and dogs, rabbits and what's left in Noah's ark.

Well if they have that lot they must have cutlery, cups and plates etc so that just leaves flannel and soap

Assume I won't be able to make it, I get back from Italy on the 23rd. I might be able to make it out for a day trip though :D
