him "great mate , i am skint"

me (12.00pm today) "hia mate be round in 10 mins for D300" (oohhh cant wait)

him " oh, forgot to ring you, i sold it last night because i needed the cash"

me :annoyed:, YOU WHAT!!!, you said it was mine, you couldnt wait till today???"

him "me and the missus wanted to go out"

me "you ^%%&&$%*^% &^$$%^& &T%, i have no camera now, pillock"

him "sorry mate"

me "yeah, yeah, thanks for nothing dip****"

so now i have to wait, save up some more cash, until then no camera, i am totally p****d off!!!

LAWL. Lucky missus. £700 for a night out?

Keep an eye out in the For Sale section. Unlucky dude.

Some friend!

Keep an eye out in Classifieds. You never know, you could now make that switch to Canon :)

That would severely annoy me. Completely inconsiderate.

More of an aquaintance than a friend I reckon, he obviously doesn't regard you as a friend.

I think I'd be pretty much steaming too! And it's certainly not the action of a friend, I'd never give him another chance to screw me.

This sort of thing happens, unfortunately. "Friends" tend to reveal their true character when they behave like this, particularly when they just brush it off as inconsequential.

Letting someone down because you want to "go out", or whatever, is disgraceful. Couldn't he, at least, have called you and said he needed some cash in a hurry if this was so important?

surely he could have called you last night and said 'i need some money for a night out, can you sort me out with 100 tonight' or whatever

what a twit

My joke posts aside...

Thats about the most cra ppy way anyone could treat someone, let alone a friend. if this were me, id tell him to go sit on an uprighted broom handle and rotate at a speed of his choosing. i also would give him a slap, purely for the principle of it!

exactly, i had 500 sitting here he could have had that while i went round with the rest, i reckon he got a bit more for it, which i am not bothered about, but at least tell me you have had a better offer.
