Hi guys. Just signed up to begin my journey into "proper" photography.
I love a walk and i love snapping away at various bits of scenery which catch my eye and i've finally decided it's time to use my iphone5 for texting and phoning and - get myself behind something decent.
Don't worry - i won't be flooding the boards with the same old newby questions (well, not deliberately) but all advice regarding decent beginner's DSLRs will be greatly received

Ade

Eyup and a very warm welcome to you Ade, from a Wakey lad.(y)

I know the various filters won't be to everyone's tastes but i'd welcome any feedback with regard to subject matter, etc.
I'm looking to buy a reasonable "beginners" DSLR - something like a nikon 3300 or canon 1200 but i'm quite intimidated by the apparent complexity of just what it can do - however i guess a camera is as complicated as you make it !
What i'd love to do is "revisit" some of my current favourite pics and re-take with whatever i buy

Good idea Ade, don't be daunted by the complexities of DSLr's, you will soon get the hang of it.(y)
