Does anyone have any tips on what to use as an eyepiece cover for LE shots? I shoot with a Canon and it comes with a cover attached to the neck strap but its a faff to get on and off. I've tried using lens cloths but they blow off in the slightest breeze. I've seen some people use a baseball cap but I've got a head like Sloth from the Goonies so i dont do hats!

Small piece of gaffers tape. Always carry some with me.

A small piece of black electrical tape. Just stick it somewhere on the camera body (underneath maybe) and it'll always be to hand.

take the cover off the strap and reattach with a peice of elastic, then you can put it on without any bother.

Just picked up some gaffer tape and it does the job perfectly. Thanks for the tip.

Just put a glove over it.:D

I use an aftermarkets eyepiece that is permanently blacked out.

Same here, bought a pack of 5 which worked out to less than a quid each. Quick and simple to slip on and off. Was glad of the extras as a couple have ended up in the sea due to cold fingers :(

Would you have details of that please?

You just put a piece of black electrical or gaffer tape across the opening to block the light out.
It's that simple and easier to take the eyepiece on and off with the tape left on it than to keep applying tape.
Really basic but it works much better than the silly little thing attached to the strap.

Like Steve says. Just work out what type of eyepiece or eyecup you have already and then do an ebay search they are very cheap. and then you just cover the hol;e permanently. I have short lanyard on mine toclip to the camera to keep it handy during use.
