Eye-Fi vs. Wi-Fi

I currently have Eye-Fi installed on my P510 and it works really well. I don't know if the current Wi-Fi enabled Nikon's (D5300 in particular) offers the same functionality?

Does anyone know if the D5300 allows transfer of images to the PC (like Eye-Fi does), or does it only transfer to Android systems such as tablets and phones?

You will need something like qDSLRdashboard on the PC. You then have a wireless tethered D5300 and can transfer files.

Thanks for your reply, although a review would appear to show the Nikon solution is way more complicated than Eye-Fi, which by comparison is really dead simple!
