Not sure if this has been mentioned before but there is an awesome little program called Double Driver which allows you to extract all the drivers on a PC.
I just used it to get all the drivers off a S/H desktop machine I just bought so that I could install an SSD.
It worked perfectly - I just used the little yellow things in Device Manager and pointed to the folder with all the drivers etc installed and Bingo(!) a few minutes and everything was up and running.
So if you don't have the driver discs etc for a machine then this could really help you.
And the download is super small - just over 2MB.
