External SSD recommendations

I think my WD Elements 3tb hard disk (USB3 attached to a Mac mini) I use for back up is on its way out. It must be nearly 10 years old and think a change to SSD is due.
any recommendations for a 2tb unit?

I got this Crucial 2Tb SSD in November, and have been very happy with it. I also got this case recommended at the same time. Not cheap for both, but as I said, happy so far.

SanDisk ones are quite good. I have the latest 1gb/s version for about a year and it is as good as they say. I use it for lightroom catalogs and working photo folders and archiving to snail drives on my Nas. There are no affordable 8tb versions for my needs yet.

Another vote for the Crucial X8. I bought it last March and it cost me £65 more than the current price......
