External power source for canon 430exii

Has any one used the Quantum MB2 with a 430exii?
More importantly, has anyone tried combining the mb2 with a cp-e4?I.e cut and join jobby!
I am getting bored with the slow recycle time. Evaluating eneloops and 2850mah ansmann's ATM. Let's see how they preform.

your not going to be able to use an external supply with the 430ex as it does not support it

you need to get a higher specced flash 580ex range or the Nissin 866
the 430ex2 is pretty fast at recycling one way one be lower the flash power for a faster recycle time

this is not strictly true.
the quantum MB2 is a connection module that is inserted into the battery compartment of the 430exii. have a look here you will need to select the brand and model form the top RHS.
