External Lens Case 70-200 vr2

Good Morning,

Any suggestions on a protective case that can hold the 70-200vr 2 with the tripod mount and can be attached to the outside of a lowepro backpack?

Have seen some of the JJC ones and lowepro ones but not sure what size I should be looking for to fit lens with the tripod mount.

I know it would be easier to get another bag to hold all the kit, but trying to see if I can get a case before trying to find a new bag.

I'd take the lens (and foot!) to a reasonably well stocked shop to see which cases fitted it.
 
The 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII fits well into the Lowepro Lens Exchange Case 200AW, I've got a Kirk aftermarket foot attached.

The case has a single Lowepro SlipLock attachment point that may fit the backpack dependent on model, I've only attached it to a belt rig.

Thank you both. Have rearranged the bag and have sorted it managed to fit it in. Not happy with how the second body sits in the bag so may have to get something, but will try it out as it is and see how I get on.

Morning @gcgraphs ,

Please may I ask, are these well padded? I have a lowepro vertex 200 so should be able to attach it to the bag on one side, but not sure if they are well padded when it is attached to the bag and then put in the boot of the car or when putting the bag with the exchange and lens attached on the floor.

Would say the padding would be similar to the Vertex internal dividers, will post some images when home.

Thank you, much appreciated. Have the itch to get something so debating on either one of these or a case for one of the smaller lenses.
 
Some phone images with and without the 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII. It's worked well for me on my belt order, really easy when swapping between lenses on the "hurry up" too:)
