Hi all.
I have an external hard drive that I use on my mac, entirely for photos. It's partitioned, 800gb for files, 200gb for time machine. The other night my MacBook stopped finding the file partition, I can't mount it. When I click verify and repair disk, it doesn't work, says the drive needs resetting. In my laziness I have 2 months of files and edits I haven't put into my secondary back up. I've recovered the raw files from iPhoto, but don't want to have to edit them all again, there's approx 4000 photos, that I've uploaded or edited in this time.
Does anyone know what I can do to a) fix the problem, or b) recover the files from the drive, I ideally would like it to be free, as I'm going to need to buy a new drive after this debacle is done with.
Thanks in advance
Jake
