Yes
i have a tamron 70-300 tele-macro ,and thinking of getting a
Canon EF 2x III Extender,,,,,,would this work with this lens ?

Kenko is rubbish! I had one! Even with an 80-200 2.8 it was pointless!

If there was a cheap optically perfect way of making a 300mm zoom a 600mm zoom who would need to spend £5k plus for their lenses? We'd all buy a £99 kenko and get perfect results!

i have the eos350d .what lens would you suggest for my favorite sport which is grass track racing ,

300mm 2.8 prime!

thankyou mark will go have a look :)

Is the 350d crop sensor?

mark yes it is

Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L IS USM....this the one

Have you tried the 300mm lens grass tracking ? I've done grand prixs and truck racing and goodwood all with a 200mm 2.8 and never really said........ Wish I had a 300 or longer

The 350D is quite old technology, it was my first dSLR and is great for many subjects but the the AI Servo focusing is very poor. AI servo is a good method shooting motor sports so you may struggle with that body whatever the lens. For what it is worth when I upgraded to the 40D my keeper rate improved immensely.

Best of luck with your choice(s).

i have a choice of a 40d or a 50d now

Get the 50D and look for a Sigma 100-300mm f4. Fantastic lens and you can find it sometimes at bargain prices.

Also, depending on your budget, you could maybe look at a used 7D, some sell for around £350. Much better AF than the 50D.

Good luck!
