I'm still relatively new to D-SLR and CS2 but I'm on a steep learning curve. What I'm looking to do, is creat an HDR image. I understand what I have to do, but what's throwing my off is the 'Under-expose by 1 stop and Over-evpose by 1 stop'
In laymans terms, what is exposure? I use my camera primarily for motorsport and I'm probably already using this but I don't know what/how to move one stop up and one down (as I say, I probably already am doing this as I'm shooting in 'M' mode on my D300 mostly). Is it moving the 'F' number up 1 and down 1 or is it to go +1 and -1 on the 'Exposure Compensation'? I'm sure this makes me sound like a right noob but I would like to attempt some still images rather than guys going past me at over triple figures most of the time, thank you.
