Exporting from iphoto problems

Am thinking of getting Lightroom 4, but am having problems exporting all my photos from iPhoto.
When I use Phoshare none of canon raw seem to get exported, so I used the iPhoto export all and all photos seem to be exporting going by the number, but am only getting a folder size of 100gb instead of 128 gb which is what is in the iPhoto folder !

Can you get to the iPhoto directory and cut paste from there into what ever directory is being used by your new product?

Or just get Aperture instead and it all integrates with that typical Apple efficiency

Am thinking those thoughts, it would probably be a lot easier to get Aperature
