Explorer running slow

Hi guys,

Last few days my explorer has started to run pretty slow.

Even when a page has fully loaded it takes a couple of seconds before it lets me scroll down it.

I downloaded a few converters over the weekend to convert some stuff for my ipod and its been since then, maybe something bad in a download.

I have uninstalled everything I installed and done a system restore but still the same.

Will a removal of explorer and reinstall help do you think?

Cheers, scanning now.

Noticed the bar at the bottom of explorer keeps stating facebook and twitter etc so something ir running in the background.

Got rid of a couple of things which seems to have quickened it up but still randomly crashing. Oh well.

Everything?

It's only drivers and applications that are reverted not data.

Even that probably won't be much for a few days.
 
Think I've sorted it with system restore eventually. Didn't see the 'show more dates' option first time around and have managed to go back far enough and it's solved it.

As stated, it doesn't effect and images or files on the computer, just installed programmes.
