Explodinal :(

Hey guys - I could use some advice! I bought a little bottle of the Adox Adonal (sold as the same as Rodinal) off eBay. I used a bit, did the bottle up and kept it with my other chemicals. I've come to it today and the bottle's exploded

How do you store your chemicals? I've been reading it's because of air in the bottle, and I should have kept it in a different container (mentioning heavy gases or vacuum flasks).

I'm also assuming the half a bottle of developer left in there is no good now?

I've had a half empty bottle in the cupboard under the stairs for over a year and it's been fine. It was stored in the original bottle and remained explosion free. I used the last drops of it the other day and apart from having to strain out the crusty bits it worked perfectly.

Hmm. I was wondering whether I should contact the seller - I wasn't sure whether this was my silly mistake or if the chemicals were iffy.
