Hi,

IMG_1051_small.jpg

I was trying the HiLite 6x7 and this is one of the photos that I took using this background.
For the background I used one Bowens Prolite head and for the subject I used Canon 580 EX II in Alzo softbox which was placed approximately one yard away from camera on the right.
I can see there is some light wrap on the subject but this photo was taken in a confined space.
Tell me what do you think,
C&C would be appreciated.

Thanks

This picture looks warmer on my laptop when I edit it in Photoshop.
It lookes bit cooler on the web browser.
I don't know why, how can I solve this problem?
Thanks

It might be because before you upload a photo to the internet you are best off saving the file for "web and mobile devices". If your using photoshop, then its File>Save for web and mobile.
Otherwise you're colours will looks washed out on the internet when compared to your computer version.

I think the subject could do with being a tiny bit brighter. But other than that I think it's a good photo!

Was this direct from the camera? Or has it had a bit of editing in PS

P.S - I think the white balance is just about perfect on my screen

I thought it was down to which colourspace you use.

I never use save for web as it strips all exif and the preview.

Hi,

Thank you for all the comments so far.

djs: it was edited in photoshop but only for sharpening.
I did not change anything else, then it was saved as jpeg.

psenior1: The softbox I used was from Alzodigital, I can not remember the size now but it is about the same size with small Ezybox for Lastolite (38x38cm).

Thank you,

Saglik

This one is saved File>Save for web.
Does this one looks better than the first one?

Thanks

This is similar to the first image but this time the Hilite is turned off.
Just sharpened with PS.

This is the last one from that series.
I think there is too much light wrap on the subject here.
