exif

download opanda iexif from their website and use that by right clicking on a jpeg and selecting 'view exif' or open the image in photoshop and goto fileinfo in the menu!

What extra information would that show over the details tab in the properties window?
 
never really compared the two as I don't tend to look at other peoples exif's, only my own, and then only if people ask and I can't remember.

It's a bit like asking the chef for the recipe rather than appreciating the taste of the food imho.

Thanks for the info Gandhi, it works a treet :thumbs:, If I was interested in cooking and someone gave me a tasty meal, I would like to know the recipe, :)
 
:agree: When I looked at pics it helped a lot if they had just the shutter speed, aperture and iso shown. I know that its not going to help me get the same quality of shot but it did help me to understand what worked with each picture.
