wish everyone would leave their exif data intact so dummies like me can see whats what :(

How come 99% has it removed??
 
PS[2] "save for web" knobbles everything that is not essential.

It's that I dont have to think/worry button. :D

So everyone here has forked out the £700 or what ever adobe wanted for PS??

damm, i'm the only poor guy here then :(
 
As well as being stripped by software, when you are posting online you tend to try and keep the size down as much as possible. And if working with a size limit then you would normally choose to use every bit of it for image data rather than extraneous information.

Though I agree it is very useful and a shame when it is absent on sites like these. It would be nice if people posted the essential details, though I am sure if you ask they would be happy to share.

Also, the TP Galleries have a size limit of 161k per image so they have to be compressed quite a lot. "Save for We" is the easiest way of doing it.

Full version of Photoshop is around £490, upgrade from previous version £135.
You can buy Photoshop Elements 5 which is a slimmed down version of PS but still very functional for £60 on Amazon
